Arts Express is a visual arts education charity that is dedicated to making the thrill and joy of creating a work of art available to everyone.

We take visual art materials and equipment into the community and engage all ages in making art. For example we run a stone carving festival annually in Peckham, South London, where anyone can use carving tools to make a sculpture.  We run workshops in schools, community centres, cultural institutions and public events that give people the opportunity to try their hand at a range of different activities including stone carving, wood carving, printing, painting, drawing, mosaics and ceramics, amongst others.

We also undertake public art commissions where these involve the community including murals, mosaics, sculpture and sculptural street or park furniture and play features.

In addition we run evening classes from our studio in Kennington.
